No Telugu in Any Time Payment(ATP) Machine of Electricity Corporation

kdisknav, disk, lightning, power, disc, saveRecently Andhra Pradesh electricity department has introduced ATP(Any Time Payment) machines which are used to collect electricity bills and a computerised bill will be issued. And they are spending lacs of rupees on it and have not used a single word of Telugu.

All its menus are in English and receipt also in English. And authorities have not thought out even a little bit to introduce Telugu in the software. It is very simple to have multiple  languages, the higher authorities are not interested in implementing Telugu.

There is no meaning in learning Telugu in future as the person having knowledge of Telugu is non but an illiterate in his own state.
