RTC issuing tickets in English and ignoring Telugu

Have you ever travelled in a State Road Transport Corporation of AP and Telangana? You will get a ticket in the bus through ticket issuing hand held device and you will never find a difference because you know English (literate) and you ask fellow passenger who knows only Telugu (illiterate) and he will not be able to read and he don’t know whether the ticket was issued for his requested destination or not as the entire ticket will be in English.

Same way if  you board a Tamil Nadu government bus or a Karnataka government bus and you find the ticket is issued with the respective languages.

This is plight of our Telugu language and lack of concern by higher authorities sitting in the cities and are literates. When it is very simple to introduce Telugu in a software environment, authorities are conveniently ignoring the same and spending crores of rupees to make more and more people illiterate and help only literates(English known people).

The Transport corporation should immediately introduce Telugu in their tickets issued through hand held devices. Issuing a ticket in a language not known to the passenger is also an offence under Road Transport Rules. Demand will be sent to Managing Directors of APSRTC & TSRTC
