We have come across State Election Commission websites related to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and also other States Election commission sites and surprisingly, we found that our Telugu States Websites are completely in English. And other State Election Commission Websites are in English and in their state language.
It is really pathetic to note that the State Election Commission Sites for AP and Telangana are conveniently ignoring use of Telugu and turning Telugu known people as illiterates.
Also see the State Election Commission sites of Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra etc and are using their languages along with English.
See the sites:
For Andhra Pradesh : https://sec.ap.gov.in
For Telangana: https://tsec.gov.in/
For Tamil Nadu : https://tnsec.tn.nic.in/
For Karnataka : https://karsec.gov.in/
For Kerala : https://www.sec.kerala.gov.in/
For Odisha : https://sec.odisha.gov.in/
For Maharashtra : https://mahasec.maharashtra.gov.in/
We request the State Election Commissioners of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to make their sites bilingual by creating Telugu version also so that the information can be shared with more people and there will be greater transparency in the conduct of State Election Commissions.
